The eCities project continually seeks to recognize communities that are doing great things and provide them with helpful feedback when possible. So, the Best Practices survey is an opportunity for participating communities to share their story with entrepreneurs. Each community is able to submit responses to questions that prompt them to highlight the key strategies, resources, and assets that promote their community - each response is then reviewed by a panel of entrepreneurs. Communities highlighted as Best Practices are communities that the panel of entrepreneurs found had concise, compelling, unique, and relevant messages. Feedback from entrepreneurs is made available to all communities that respond to the survey.
This year eCities worked with our Best Practices communities to record their marketing messages on camera. We interviewed and filmed representatives and business owners from each of the eight communities over the course of several weeks. Below are the logos for each of our 2013 Best Practices communities.
